Description
PolyAn’s hydrophobic beads can be applied to immobilize amphiphilic biomolecules like phospholipids, lipopolysaccharides, lipoproteins, or even membrane-based receptors after cell-lysis. The hydrophobic beads are characterized by a high contact angle with water, and are stable in organic solvents such as methanol, acetone and even chloroform (up to 50% v/v).
The standard packaging volume is 1.5 mL with a solids content of 0.1% (mg/mL).
In order to optimize the performance for your specific application, we can custom-synthesize hydrophobic beads with various particle sizes and fluorescence intensities. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your application.
